What is Tanked Up?

Tanked Up is a mobile fuel delivery service that brings fuel directly to your vehicle, fleet, or equipment. Instead of going to the gas station, you schedule a delivery in the app or online, and our certified driver fills your tank where it’s parked.

Where is Tanked Up currently available?

We’re launching in select service areas — starting in Des Moines and the surrounding ‘burbs — and rapidly expanding. You can enter your ZIP code during sign-up to see if we currently serve your location.

Do I need to be present during the delivery?

Nope! As long as the fuel door is accessible and we can reach your vehicle or equipment, you don’t need to be there. You’ll get a notification once fueling is complete.

What types of fuel do you deliver?

We currently deliver:

  • Regular Unleaded Gasoline

  • Diesel

Is there a minimum fuel amount required?

No strict minimum, but for small fills (under 5 gallons), a delivery fee may apply unless you’re on a subscription plan.

How do I schedule a delivery?

Through the Tanked Up app.

How does residential fuel delivery work?

You park at home, the office, or wherever you are like normal. Choose a delivery window. We arrive, fuel your vehicle, send a receipt — no gas station trips needed.

Can you deliver if my car is locked or the fuel door needs a release button?

Yes! If your fuel door requires an interior release, you can leave it slightly popped open or note instructions in the app. Otherwise, we’ll contact you.

Can you fuel cars in my garage?

For safety, we do not fuel inside enclosed garages. Vehicles must be parked in an outdoor driveway or open carport.

Do you deliver to apartments or gated communities?

Yes — as long as we have access. You can leave gate codes or instructions during scheduling.

Can I schedule automatic weekly fills?

Yes! You can choose one-time or recurring delivery schedules (daily, weekly, or custom).

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

You can cancel for free up to 2 hours before your delivery window. Inside that window, a small cancellation fee may apply to cover driver dispatch.

How does fleet fueling work?

We arrive after hours, overnight, on the job site, or during scheduled times. Our driver fuels each vehicle where it’s parked, logs gallons per vehicle or license plate, and sends you a digital report.

Do drivers need to be there during fueling?

No — vehicles just need to be parked in your yard, lot, or job site with fuel doors accessible.

Can you fuel mixed fleets (vans, trucks, equipment)?

Yes — we work with service vans, pickup trucks, box trucks, trailers, generators, diesel tanks, and more.

Do you offer fuel cards or tracking reports?

Even better — you don’t need fuel cards. We track fuel automatically by license plate or unit number and send digital receipts + monthly reports.

Do you offer bulk discounts or pricing per gallon?

Yes. Fleet and business accounts receive custom per-gallon pricing based on volume and frequency.

Can you fuel overnight or before drivers arrive in the morning?

Absolutely. Most businesses prefer overnight fueling so their crews start the day fueled and ready to go.

What types of equipment do you fuel?

We refuel:
✔ Skid steers, excavators, lifts
✔ Generators, compressors, light towers
✔ On-site fuel tanks & cubes
✔ Delivery trucks & trailers

Do I need someone onsite during delivery?

Not necessarily. As long as equipment is accessible and instructions are clear, we can fuel without supervision.

Can you handle remote or muddy job sites?

Yes — our trucks are built for job site conditions. If access is an issue, just note it when scheduling.

Can you fuel multiple job sites in one visit?

Yes. We can route across multiple sites or split invoices by project if needed.

How do I pay for service?

For residential: via debit/credit, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
For businesses: credit card, ACH, or invoicing.

When is payment processed?
  • Residential: Charged after fuel delivery.

  • Fleet & business: Billed daily, weekly, or monthly depending on account.

Do you charge delivery or service fees?
  • Pay-As-You-Go: small delivery fee per visit

  • Subscription plans: no delivery fees + per-gallon discounts

  • Fleet accounts: custom pricing — no hidden fees

Do I get receipts or reports?

Yes — every delivery includes a digital receipt. Fleet accounts also receive monthly fuel reports per vehicle.
